The Friendship Circle

A group of retired villagers meet from time to time for an outing or meeting in the Village Hall. Sometimes the visit is to a tea rooms or the local pub for lunch. We last met Coffee and Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday 2012 at Strode Arms. 

Elders of the parish would like to thank the Community Group for the Christmas Gifts given to them.They were very much enjoyed and appreciated. We are very much aware of the charity work carried out and money raised by the Community Group for this parish. We thank them and wish them every success with events planned for this year.

In APRIL, 28 of us enjoyed coffe and delicious homemade (at the Strode Arms) tea cakes, thanks to Tim and Ann Marie. The raffle, with it's impressive raffle prizes raised £100 which has been donated to the Village Jubilee Fund to help towards the catering costs. Thank you to Gwenda, and Pam who are in charge.
