Cranmore Refuse Collection Times
(Except for Bank Holidays)
Every Friday morning recycling and compost bin contents are collected, (Paper, Card, Bottles, Cans, Plastic Milk bottles and a few other items)
Alternate Fridays the Wheely bin for non reciclable household waste and if you have paid for a garden waste bin then this will be collected the other Friday.

The Wednesday 6.30pm group at the Village Hall has closed for the summer and will restart in September

Please keep your dog on a lead in the village. We welcome responsible dog owners and so does The Strode Arms.
PCSO Visits to Cranmore
Nikky Houseley is Cranmore's PCSO and can be contacted on 101, the Police non-emergency contact number or at nicola.houseley@avonandsomerset.police.uk.PCSOs work within the local community ad can becontacted in the fist instance to report vandalism or damage street furniture, to report suspicious activity, to provide crime prevention advice, to deter juvenile nuisance and to visit victims of crime.
Winter Grit
Grit is available from the yellow bins for use on the roads and effective in very small quantities, typically, 10g per sq.m. (10g is only about a tspful). If we suffer a prolonged snow-ice event this winter, judicious use of our limited supplies will ensure maximum benefit to the community. Please remember that this is not for private use.
