Winter Grit
Grit is available from the yellow bins for use on the roads and effective in very small quantities, typically, 10g per sq.m. (10g is only about a tspful). If we suffer a prolonged snow-ice event this winter, judicious use of our limited supplies will ensure maximum benefit to the community. Please remember that this is not for private use.
Pete's(Blunden) Charity Auction for 4 charities, was held on 19th November.
It was so much more successful than could have been imagined and the family have been overwhelmed by generosity and support. The Auction raised £5,200, the raffle nearly £300 with more donations bringing the total to date to over £6000. A big thank you to all in the village from Family and Friends of Pete Blunden.
