https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/your-area/frome-rural-south/
Here the team leaders are shown.... including 'Neighbourhood Sergeant' Rachel Clark. The PCSOs work for her. Not shown are PCSO Amanda Ware whose area includes Cranmore (She is a member of Cranmore e-Chat on social media and she responds to messaging... Amanda and her colleagues (usually Russell ?his surname escapes me) hold online surgeries now during lockdown to respond to questions. The team are also on Facebook and Twitter. (There have been a couple of new PCSOs recently).
Our nearest Police Station is: Shepton Mallet Police Station
Haskins Retail Park
Townsend
Shepton Mallet
BA4 5SB
To contact the police - non urgent - phone 101. (In an emergency dial 999)
On the local web page Crime Statistics for that area are shown; there is an online contact form that can be completed and when a PACT meeting is being held it is usually listed there under events (there are none at the moment) but they aren't planned very far ahead, you have to keep checking!
The PACT priorities are shown there (these can be voted on at PACT meetings with parish councils.. Speeding is a current one!
The nearest PACT meeting to Cranmore to my knowledge is held at Leigh On Mendip Hall and I believe they also hold them in Shepton Mallet - I have never worked out the schedule, they do seem to be a bit irregular but are quite interesting and well attended by local parish councillors if you can find when one is due to be held. However, Cranmore no longer gets PCSO visits on a regular basis as we once did.
Neither have we ever got any new Neighbourhood Watch off the ground - it is not for lack of asking at every opportunity!!! There is always someone new taking it over and working it out and not yet ready to press ahead!!!
