Jill's Close is a playing field in the heart of the village. The land was donated to the parish by the Hoddinott family in the late 1960's in memory of Jill Hoddinott. It has now become an integral part of Cranmore; facilitating a safe play area for all ages.
It is thanks to the Jill's Close Committee, a working party of the parish council, that the area is always well maintained and new equipment purchased regularly through local fundraising. All ages are catered for including exercise apparatus for adults and multi-functional equipment for the younger members of our community.
Jill's Close in also the venue for the annual village fayre.
