SPEEDING AND ROADS
Speeding at Tansey Crossroads, Dean, and Waterlip remains an issue. With regard to a 20mph limit through Cranmore Village, the Parish Council has reluctantly decided not to proceed in view of the cost of around £6000.
Community Speed Watch has resumed, now with 7 trained volunteers, and is able to operate from Dean triangle in addition to the previously authorised sites within Tansey and Waterlip 30mph limits.
Discussions with Somerset Highways to improve roads and road safety will continue.
